Throughout the week, we will explore five stories of water and discover how God cares for us, claims us, speaks to us, teaches us, and sends us into the world.
In worship, storytelling, music, drama, creativity, service, and fellowship, participants of all ages will have opportunities to grow in faith and connect with one another.
LITTLE
STREAMS
children’s program (ages 5 - 12)

Little Streams is a five-day children's faith program inspired by the best traditions of Vacation Bible School. The program will run daily from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
Each day begins with worship and singing before children explore a Bible story through small groups and interactive rotations. In drama, art projects, games, service opportunities, and conversations about real-world issues, participants will discover how God's living water is active in their lives and in the world around them.
This year's Bible stories include:
Moses Strikes the Rock
The Baptism of Jesus
The Woman at the Well
Jesus Washes the Disciples' Feet
Philip and the Ethiopian
Children will learn that God cares for us, claims us, speaks to us, teaches us, and sends us into the world to share God's love.

DEEP
WATERS

Deep Waters is a camp-inspired youth gathering during Splash Week designed around faith, friendship, fun, and meaningful conversation.
Deep Waters will take place from Thursday, July 16th to Friday, July 17th, 2026. Youth will gather at Advent on Thursday at 2:00 PM for an afternoon and evening of activities, food, faith conversation, games, painting, and time together. The gathering will include an optional overnight sleepover at the church, with pickup on Friday at 8:45 AM.
Throughout Deep Waters, youth will explore the theme of Splash Week: God’s living water gives us new life. This will be a time for connection, conversation, creativity, and community as youth reflect on faith, belonging, service, and what it means to share God’s love in the world.
Registration is required. Participants must have completed permission and medical forms signed by a parent/guardian before attending. If you would like to register, please either click the button below, or fill out this form and email it to campcoordinator@adventlutheran.ca
Youth are also welcome to participate in Community Connections and The Gathering Table throughout the week if they wish (see below).

Living Stories invites adults from our congregation and partner churches to become part of the Splash Week experience.
Living Stories participants will join children's small groups in the Little Streams program to share stories from their own lives connected to the daily theme. Through conversation, storytelling, and relationship-building, children will have opportunities to hear how faith continues to shape the lives of people of all ages.
Living Stories participants are not teachers or leaders, but rather companions in faith. The scheduling for these participants is flexible depending on their availability.
Adults are also invited to participate in Community Connections and The Gathering Table throughout the week if they wish (see below).

Throughout the week, participants will explore how the week's theme connects to real needs and opportunities in our communities and around the world. Community leaders and organizations will help us discover how God's living water is shared through service, advocacy, hospitality, and care for others. Topics may include water stewardship, welcoming newcomers, global access to clean water, homelessness, and building communities of belonging.

Each day includes a shared meal and time for conversation. Children, youth, volunteers, Living Waters participants, community guests, and visitors are invited to gather around the table to share stories, reflect on the day's experiences, and build relationships across generations.
