Advent Lutheran is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada.  We were established on December 1st, 1980 and have since grown to a membership of over 300 people.  We are a diverse community and welcome new members to our family of faith.

We draw strength from our heritage and traditions.  We love, care for, nurture and value our members.  We are committed to serve.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”
-Matthew 18:20

Worship at Advent takes place on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am. We celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Communion each Sunday.

The people of Advent gather at worship each week to hear and experience the story of God’s love for the world and to commit our lives in response.  We use a variety of music styles in worship and welcome the gifts of many people – musicians, readers, acolytes, ushers, assisting ministers, and hosts – each week.  We welcome you as you join us this day.  Children are always welcome in worship, and it is our hope that parents will bring their children from an early age. Children’s worship bulletins are available on the table in the narthex.  Activity bags have been placed in the narthex or ask usher for assistance.  For those who need it there is babysitting provided during worship for infants and children up to age 4, in the church nursery. Youth from our congregation serve as baby sitters with adult supervisors.
